| So, I'm at Walmart... | | picking up some kitty treats for my client.I turn around and there's this young man looking at flea products.Being the nosy, buttinsky that I am, I said: "I wouldn't buy anything by Hartz."He started then said: "I've heard that. I was looking for Frontline.""They don't sell that here," I stated the obvious. "Now, you can get it at pet stores, but," thinking of it while I was talking," you'd probably do even better by going to Animal Trustees.""They sell that?" he seemed surprised.I said yes and then told him where they were. Turned out, he actually had a good idea of where they were at. I then described where to go to get the flea stuff - because he didn't want to pay $180 to the vet for his 3 dogs for a 3 months supply of Advantage.I told him that it was over $300 for flea stuff for one month for our cats, because we had a rescue, and that was FROM ATA.So, he left Walmart without buying anything and I got the kitty treats. But I was left with a warm fuzzy feeling that I had once again prevented someone from harming their animal by buying stuff from Hartz. So, my friends, don't by Hartz flea stuff, I've heard absolute horror stories of animals... | |
| | Hartz 3 in 1 Cat Spray | | Has anyone ever used this on their cat or kitten? I just did a search on a couple of search engines and found two sites that say not use this on my cats. They say that it can lead to poisoning your cat. Even some of these people were dog owners, who had dogs that died from using hartz flea spray and other stuff. If someone has used this, please tell me what happened to your pet. If not, then tell me if you would use this on your dog or cat. Also, which type of flea prevention would you use on your cat or dog? Any suggestions would be appreciated., he left Walmart without buying anything and I got the kitty treats. But I was left with a warm fuzzy feeling that I had once again prevented someone from harming their animal by buying stuff from Hartz. So, my friends, don't by Hartz flea stuff, I've heard absolute horror stories of animals getting sick or dying from their stuff. Not that 100% of their stuff is bad, but better safe than sorry - right?has any of your animals been harmed by a flea product? | |
