| | Something in my dog's ear! | | I woke up this morning to find my dog shaking his head constantly and favoring his right ear. Apart from this he is acting normal, but I cannot find anything in his ear. I looked down it with flashlight and cleaned the surface with a q-tip and nothing. I can't afford to have a vet check it out, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid of the obstruction because it must be done far as, again, I can't see it. | |

| | do you dog-ear or use a book mark when reading? | | hey there. for me, i simply memorize the page number and close the book. however, not all the time, i can remember and i had to flip the book back and forth and try to locate my place. i tried bookmarks, however, i end up misplacing so many bookmarks that it's not worth it and i can't stand to fold the page or even dog-ear the corner...LOLhow about you? | |

| | How do you mark your place? | | Hey avid readers! So for those of you still reading the good old fashion paper books, how do you mark your place? Do you have a nice bookmark that you always use? Do you just find any old scrap of paper and use that? Are you a page folder?
I used to just memorize the page number I was on before I close the book, but of course that system didn't work out for very long. I've also grabbed random scrapes of paper and been a page folder in the past. Last year I got a really pretty durable bookmark for graduation, and I've been using it in every book I've read since.

| do you fold the page in the book before you sleep? | | Before you sleep you can have those pages that are fine with all issue and hence it would have been fine with all those issues,however, it would have been fine with all those features and hence it would give necessary to have those pages to be folded before we sleep and hence it would have been fine with all those cases.Life is almost been fine with that of anything to be of anything that is fine with all those things that are fine with all those issues that are able to do with all those findings .I always have the character to fold my page where i did have the last page befor ei sleep. | |
| | What are your book and reading fetishes? | | I usually don't like the spine of my books to be broken that's why i'm always careful while reading. i also dont like to dog-ear the pages of the book and i don't always have a bookmark handy so everytime i pause or got distracted by something while reading, I end up closing the book unmark and then have to scan the pages to pick up where i left off. what about you? what are your book and reading fetishes? | |

| Does Anyone Keep Journals/Diaries? | | I remember when I was nearly thirteen, thinking that I was too old to start journaling, that I needed to start at a younger age:) I decided to start a journal anyway, and I think now thirteen years later I've accumulated around 15 or 16 journals filled with my life, in case when I'm 80 I can pass them down to my grandchildren to know what was going through my mind when I was as young as they were. And also when I'm older, I can look back and read about fond memories, I still do that, I'm always re-reading my journals, especially the pages I dog ear marked, those are usually the "steamy" pages or funny things that were said...Does anyone else keep a journal? | |
| | keeping your place | | What do you use to keep your place in a book? do you use something meant for a bookmarker - or just grab the closest convenient slip of paper or yarn?do you dog ear the pages?here is an idea for a nice page markercut off the corners from the bottom of your junk mail envelopes, open up that triangle and place over the corner of the page you wish to mark. voila, instant book mark - I like to use colored envelopes for this purpose as I find them easier to spot.... also a good idea if more than one member of the family is reading on the same book - different colored bookmarks for the different people. | |
