Bayside Goldens can be found in Baytown, Texas. Our goal is to produce English and American type, multi purpose Goldens. We have mixed foreign lines in with our own to help eliminate several health problems caused by a small gene pool in the US. Puppies are available occasionally and, stud services are available to approved females.
Our Goldens are not caged in a small kennel but are raised in our yard and home, being socialized with people, children, and other dogs. We let our puppies go to new, loving homes when they reach seven to eight weeks old depending on how well the pup is developed socially. They will have been dewormed and had their first set of immunization shots. Every puppy will go to their new homes with their shot records recorded in a record booklet from our veterinarian. The parents are also healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations, get their yearly physical examination by our veterinarian, take heartworm prevention, flea control, vitamins.

The price for stud service is currently the price of the pick of the litter puppy with a minimum of $500
The stud dog owner will provide any health clearances along with a, 5-generation pedigree. When shipping, rabies vaccination certificate is required in Texas. In addition, the bitch must have a negative brucellosis test within 30 days prior to the breeding. I would prefer a vaginal culture, specifically in case with bitches with a history of misses or female reproductive problems.
If bitch fails to conceive a return service will be given on her next season without additional deposit. If there are fewer than three live puppies at two weeks of age a return service will also be available when the female has fully recovered from her previous pregnancy (within a reasonable time frame). In the event of a return service another bitch may be substituted provided she meets the requirements of this contract. If she doesn't conceive from the second service, there will be no return of fees paid. Two weeks board is included in the stud service fee. If the bitch is boarded for more than 14 days the owner of the bitch agrees to 8.00 per night board.
The bitch will be bred every other day as long as she will stand or as instructed by the owner. Any veterinary expenses relating to the bitches care or breeding (smears, progesterone testing, health certificates, etc) will be the responsibility of the bitch owner. No service will be rendered without a copy of a recent brucellosis test.
Copies of Brucellosis are not necessary when using fresh extended semen procedures. All expenses relating to collecting, shipping and inseminating the bitch is the responsibility of the Bitch's owner(s). Related fees are due at the time breeding takes place if possible.
The owner of the bitch agrees that none of the puppies will be sold through a pet shop, wholesaler or individuals acting as an agent for a third party. Puppies will be sold on a limited registration, to individual family homes in the United States and Canada and never be sent Overseas. Bitches, will have a safe and comfortable environment, and instructions from the owner will be carefully followed. Should the bitch become ill, the owner of the bitch authorizes all immediate and necessary care and will be responsible for any and all veterinarian charges. The bitch owner will hold the Stud owner harmless for any and all injuries or death, which may occur in the course of this contract.
Conditions and Guarantees
If unhappy with this puppy you may return him/her for full refund, less shipping
charges. Dog / Puppy must be returned within 24 hours if local, a phone call
notification within 24 hours for those who require shipping. All return shipping
costs and crate/vet fees are at the buyers expense. Buyer also has a return with
full refund guarantee against communicable disease during the first 72 hours.
Any disease of a communicable nature must be reported during this time. We
encourage you to keep your puppy out of areas other dogs frequent until his
shots are fully phased in. Any return or refund indicates the AKC papers will
become the property of Bayside Goldens, regardless of the dogs physical residence.
All breeding pairs have been chosen based on their attractive, sound and correct
physical traits, as well as what we do know of the general lack of primary disease
states in this puppys immediate and extended ancestry. Therefore puppy is sold
as is and no further guarantees on health related illnesses shall apply. Buyer has
reviewed the list of common diseases of Golden Retrievers and understands that
buying this breed of dog can be considered a risk closely associated with the
enourmous popularity and demand of same. |
